Our Brownie has tried far too many canine clothing and accesories, and has officially made it a point that the Ready to Wag Save the Queen hoodie is his very favorite. I opted for the pink since the black is too hot for Texas weather. And no, we do not go out in clothes in the day time, that would be suicide. Brownie absoluted loves the fit, comfort, and I love the look! It's perhaps one of the few hoodies that he has worn and actually let the shirt stay on him. Brownie is getting the hang of the pamper poochy thing as I recently noticed that he will not go on the grass, nor sleep on the floor, or go anywhere near mud, bugs, and trash. I tried to take him out (pictured above) and he had this strange look in his eyes like "Mommy, I don't do this. This is dirty." Brownie has accustomed himself and enjoys using the WizDog, indoor potty system. He likes to stay clean and lounge on a soft pillow on his chaise lounger with a chew or toy of his fancy. You will never find this guy without a nice soft cushion under him. He sits and lays where he likes to and we simply have to find space around him for ourselves.

Consumer Tested Booties!!!

We are back on the booties topic. Last post, I had done some research on shoes for dogs and any bad impacts from wearing them. So, shoes are good and protect the paws...but are they comfortable and will your dog wear them? I tried them on mine and took it a bit further by taking it out to the dog park for our monthly pug meetup. Here are pics. It rained really hard this last weekend. There was thunder and lightning right before our 9am meetup. The mud came on as Brownie ran like crazy and chased after dogs and balls. After two hours, the shoes stayed on and was easy enough to clean. I hose the dog down and the shoes rinsed off easily (Vinyl tops are durable). Check out the photos! I was wondering how you, pet parents, feel about dogs wearing shoes? We have never put shoes on our dogs before but they were so cute we could not resist. I also researched and found an article released by Cornell University's Science News on dog coats and booties (see link below) and it basically said dog booties can protect their paws. We at first thought the idea was unheard of but later changed our minds as we got more use to the idea. It helps to try it on for a few minutes while supervised by parents everyday for a while before they get use to it and stop trying to chew it off. It's just like humans, breaking in a new pair of shoes is not fun!

Made in where? That's right. These are the latest treatie holders. You can store whatever treats you choose, clip it on your bag, your dog's bag or carrier, or just drop it n your purse. In my case, I have one in my office, one at home near the TV (I choose to give them out during my entertainment hour so the dogs will sit), and one my puggy bag that I take with me whereever I take my dogs. Byt they way, if pampered puppy there trys to chew it or kill it, the case is pretty strong.
